The Bungle Bungle range at Purnululu National Park is one of the great wonders of the Australian outback. The ranges stand an extraordinary 200 to 300 metres above the grass covered plains surrounded by hidden gorges and rock pools. Purnululu National Park is inhabited by 130 different species of bird and is abound with fauna. The Park houses a variety of creatures; including the nailtail wallaby; euro and short-eared rock-wallaby, rainbow bee-eaters, lizards, and abundant budgerigars. The park is open from April to November each year.

The Bungle Bungle is renowned for its spectacular beehive shaped sandstone towers and gorges. Facilities available include 4WD access, bbq, bushwalking and guided tours.
